TThe Khadijah Sakaba Empowerment Initiative (KSEI) is a transformative non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth across Nigeria, with a primary focus on Kebbi State. Founded in 2017 by the visionary humanitarian Dr. Khadijah Musa Sakaba, the initiative is rooted in a strong commitment to social impact and sustainable development.

Since its inception, KSEI has worked tirelessly to bridge economic, educational, and social gaps by providing opportunities and resources for marginalized communities. Through strategic interventions, advocacy, and skill-building programs, the initiative has conducted over 100 outreach programs in rural areas, impacting thousands of lives.

Free Medical Outreach in Kawara community of Kebbi state

THE KHADIJAH SAKABA EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE RECENTLY ORGANIZED A FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH IN THE KAWARA COMMUNITY OF KEBBI STATE.

As part of its efforts to create medical awareness among the residents. During the outreach, the local population, which were mostly women and children, was educated about the importance of seeking medical attention when necessary.They were also provided with information about various common ailments, their symptoms, and the importance of early medical intervention.

Additionally, the outreach program also focused on providing palliatives such as food items and other essential resources, which were distributed. This gesture was aimed at alleviating the immediate challenges faced by those living in vulnerable conditions.

The Khadijah Sakaba Empowerment Initiative’s FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH not only addressed the urgent healthcare needs of the community but also educated the locals on the significance of regular hospital visits. By providing accessible healthcare services and essential resources, the initiative aimed to uplift the overall health and well-being of the Kawara community in Kebbi state.

The 5th edition of KEBBI BUSINESS EXPO was indeed a resounding success! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the PEOPLE of KEBBI STATE for coming out in large numbers to support us. Your presence and enthusiasm made the event a memorable one. The support and active participation from various businesses and entrepreneurs in Kebbi State truly showcased the region’s potential to foster economic growth.

Juma’at Mosque and Tahfizul Qur’an Center Construction Commissioning by KSEI

In the quest to promote Islamic knowledge and activities, Haj Khadijah Musa Sakaba has commenced the construction of a Juma’at Mosque and Tahfizul Qur’an center in Kawara area of Kebbi State.

The project will not only serve as a place of worship but also as a hub for Islamic education and activities in the community. This initiative will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the local Muslim population by providing them with a dedicated space for spiritual enlightenment and learning.

The noble project was commissioned by Alh. Muhammad Sani, the Kebbi State Commissioner on Religious Affairs, with the support of Alh. Bashir Garba Illo, Alh. Abubakar Dakingari, among other prominent individuals.

Celebration Of the International Day for the Girl-Child By KSEI 2023

The celebration of the International Day for the Girl Child by 𝐊𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐉𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 at 𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐣𝐚 brought together inspiring women from various fields, ksei members, and other like minds to celebrate and support girl child education.


In attendance, where,

𝐌𝐫𝐬 𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐡 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐚 @nanah_basheer , an advocate for women and youth empowerment and development , in which she delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of educating, empowering, & prioritizing girls’ education & welfare. She emphasized that education is not only a fundamental human right but also a catalyst for economic and social development.

𝐌𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚 , a renowned mental health advocate, shed light on the mental well-being of young girls, and the importance of addressing mental health issues from an early age. She emphasized the need for adequate support and resources for girls’ mental health.

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦, a sitting magistrate spoke about legal protection for the girl child and the significance of upholding the rights of young girls in society. She stressed the importance of providing a safe and enabling environment for girls to thrive.

𝐀𝐫𝐜. 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐢 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐚, a prominent figure in the Khadijah Sakaba Initiative, shared success stories and achievements of the organization in promoting girl child education and welfare. He encouraged individuals and organizations to join hands in supporting this cause.

𝐌𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐳, a representative from the Khadijah Sakaba Initiative spoke about the organization’s ongoing projects and programs aimed at empowering and educating girls.

The event concluded with a commitment from the stakeholders to continue working towards the betterment of the girl child.

Children’s Day at Kebbi State Motherless Home

KHADIJAH SAKABA EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE (KSEI) CELEBRATES CHILDREN’S ’s DAY AT KEBBI STATE MOTHERLESS AND ORPHANGE HOME ON 27TH OF MAY 2023.

in looking to create healthy growth, happiness, and improving children’s welfare, the MANAGEMENT OF KHADIJAH SAKABA EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE treated the children at the MOTHERLESS and ORPHANAGE HOME in kebbi state to an unforgettable experience, with Food, and lots of valuable gift items to seal the day.

In furtherance, the children were engaged in a series of educative activities and games to cheer them up, which they expressed themselves with screams of delight and togetherness. It was, indeed, an unfading excitement for them.

MRS. KHADIJAH MUSA SAKABA also pledged to impact positively into the lives of vulnerable children in many possible ways

The Growth Room with Khadijah Sakaba

In a bid to set a good pace for our children and structure their mindset. We had a very interesting and productive session with the teens at “THE GROWTH ROOM WITH KHADIJAH SAKABA,”

The theme was NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE. Mrs. khadijah musa sakaba hosted the event and deliberated all the necessary areas affecting negative peers in our society. The speakers individually discussed different aspects that revolve around modesty, drug abuse, career progression, health hygiene, and religious teachings, among others. The auspicious event witnessed amiable speakers, namely, Mrs madeena , Dr jamila, Ms. maryam bagudo, Dr. asmau , Sheikh mamud adam ,Sheikh yasir Muhammad, who advised children to shun all bises capable of jeopardising their futures

We appreciate your presence despite all the tight schedules and believe that the insights shared will greatly impact positively on our children, attendees, and society at large.
